The members of the Richmond Orchestra and Chorus are looking forward to another Christmas season filled with the beautiful and entertaining music of the season. If you can’t make our A Classic Christmas concert on December 8th here are many more opportunities to enjoy some of your favourite seasonal songs. Everyone from 8 to 80 and beyond is welcome! And best of all – they’re all free!
The Spirit of Christmas: The orchestra, with the help of some of the chorus, presents this fun evening of old and new favourites in support of the Richmond Food Bank. Admission is free but monetary and non-perishable food donations, which will go directly to the Richmond Food Bank, are encouraged and very welcome.

Lansdowne Mall: Christmas shopping wearing you out a little? Drop in to the Orchestra’s casual concert at Landsdowne, rest your tired feet and take the opportunity to hear Richmond’s best musicians play up a storm in honour of Old Saint Nick.

Songs In the Snow: Bundle up and come out to Steveston Museum’s Town Square Park to hear members of the Richmond Chorus warm you up with their vast repertoire of Christmas songs. Hot beverages, children’s crafts and Christmas music will definitely put you in the Christmas spirit!

Aberdeen Mall: December 17th is the Chorus’ turn to entertain shoppers! Put the credit card away for just a while and drop by to listen to the choir’s offerings of seasonal music. This is guaranteed to reinvigorate you and put a smile on your face!

City Hall: Mayor Malcolm Brodie has often been known to drop in and join the Richmond Chorus when they sing at City Hall in thanks for the support the City of Richmond gives both the Orchestra and Chorus. Come and enjoy the beautifully decorated trees in the lobby and hear the Richmond Chorus celebrate the season in song!
