About the Concert
Our first concert of the season will feature internationally renowned piano soloist Sasha Starcevich. Sasha has performed around the world in such places as New York’s Carnegie Hall, London’s Wigmore Hall, Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Hall and Windsor Castle. The Richmond Orchestra and Chorus are proud to be performing with Sasha in Beethoven’s wonderful Choral Fantasy, a glorious work which combines orchestra, chorus and piano soloist. Sasha will also perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, perhaps the most popular piano concerto of all time.
