What will you be performing at Rising Stars 2017?
I will be playing the first movement of the Piano Concerto no. 3 in C minor, op. 37 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
What were the most challenging aspects of learning your concerto and why? And how did you overcome them?
This concerto was written in 1800 at a time when he was becoming increasingly aware of his deafness. In my opinion, this music expresses the many emotions which he must have been feeling because of this condition. One of the hardest aspects associated with performing this work is to understand and convey these feelings of anger and frustration as well as uncertainty, humility and hope.

What will you be performing at Rising Stars 2017?
I will be performing the Chopin Concerto in F minor, 3rd mov.
What were the most challenging aspects of learning your concerto and why? And how did you overcome them?
When I learned it at first, I was unconscious of what the whole movement would sound like and I was curious. After having it practiced for a month, I finally found the beauty of this piece.

What will you be performing at Rising Stars 2017?
I will be performing Concerto in C Major at Rising Stars 2017.
What were the most challenging aspects of learning your concerto and why?
The most challenging aspects of learning my concerto was perfecting the trills because this was the first time I've ever had to do such long trills. It was super tough! And how did you overcome them? I overcame them by being more patient and by practicing even harder at it.

What will you be performing at Rising Stars 2017? What were the most challenging aspects of learning your concerto and why? And how did you overcome them?
I will play the first movement of Bruch Violin Concerto No.1. The most challenging part of this piece is how to tell the story, express the feeling through my music, and the fast runs.
